Lawdragon named McGuireWoods Richmond partner Jacquelyn Stone to its list of 100 Leading Immigration Lawyers. Honorees included in the guide assist businesses trying to hire essential talent and individuals navigating challenges involving visas.
With more than three decades of experience, Stone — a Harvard Law School graduate — advises on immigration compliance and helps multinational companies obtain employment-based visas for professionals such as engineers, physicians, lawyers, architects, teachers, professors and research scientists. Stone also helps foreign companies and organizations establish U.S. operations and transfer key executives.
Among her many honors, the ALM publications Corporate Counsel and Inside Counsel honored Stone with the prestigious National Women in Law Award for Lifetime Achievement, and The National Law Journal named her an “Immigration Trailblazer.” In addition, the Virginia Foundation for Research and Economic Education, a prominent nonpartisan business coalition, presented Stone with its inaugural advocacy award and named the honor after her. “I’m honored to be recognized alongside so many talented lawyers,” Stone said. “The work we do impacts businesses and careers, and I’m grateful for the trust clients place in us as we help them achieve their goals.”
